Spring Creek Trout Hatchery LLC

Welcome to Spring Creek Trout Hatchery. We are located in the heart of Central Montana and stock private, licensed ponds with high-quality, disease-free trout.

All trout may be picked up at the hatchery or may delivered up to a limited quantity.  Please refer to our current price list for more information.

For pickups and deliveries, most of the trout are packed in double-layered bags with water, pure oxygen and ice to keep them cool during transport.  Square 12″ x 12″ boxes are then used for easy and stress-free transportation to your location.

You may use your own personal tank for fish transport. Stocking instructions as well as instructions for building your own aeration system are included in the side menu.  If you decide to bring your own tank to haul your trout, please let us know when you make an appointment to pick up your fish.

All purchasers of fish must have a valid and current pond license issued by Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks.  If you do not have a a current pond license, need to update it, or need to apply for one, contact FWP at (406)444-2535 or at https://fwp.mt.gov.  If you’re not sure that your license is current and up-to-date visit here to check your status.

Our reservation list fills up quickly every year and we recommend that you place your order as soon as possible – or at least a year in advance.
